Yan Cheung is a Hong Kong-based graphic designer specializing in branding and packaging design. After graduating from the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) in 2010, she worked for six years at Tommy Li Design Workshop (2013–2019). During this period, she supported clients including the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Antalis Paper HK, and others.

After receiving the DFA YDTA award, Yan expanded her professional experience by working as a full-time designer at Irobe Design Institute, Inc. / Nippon Design Center from 2023 to 2024.

From 2024 onward, she transitioned to freelance while continuing to collaborate with Irobe Design Institute, Inc. / Nippon Design Center in a remote work arrangement based in Hong Kong. She also welcomes opportunities to work with Hong Kong clients, and she is open to international collaboration, including projects related to Japan.

With solid industry experience, Yan is grateful for the chance to learn and contribute through design. She believes commercial design has a great influence on our daily lives—good design comes from understanding its relationship with users and striking a balance between aesthetics and practicality. She is committed to continuously learning and exploring new collaboration opportunities.
